Potable Water Storage Facilities System and Site Hardening
A design-build project requiring dual 300,000 gallon potable water tanks and the process water building system. Optum also provided design and construction for improvements to the site security and electrical systems including adding approximately 8,000 lineal feet of security fencing.
Ethicon Monofilament Reconfiguration
Project included a plant reconfiguration in order to allow for the addition of two new production lines. Work also entailed changes to the process engineering area, fitness area, office area, and the employee locker room. The design-build project included modifications to a space totaling approximately 17,000 square-feet. Work was completed on schedule and without interrupting production operations or contaminating the production areas.
Elan Pharmaceuticals Control Room Reconfiguration
This project included the demolition of an existing control room and the construction of a new pharmaceutical production area. Additional modifications were made to surrounding spaces to support the operational, regulatory, and environmental requirements of the new production environment.
Elan Administrative Office Reconfiguration
This project renovated approximately 4,600 square feet of administrative space and added a new mezzanine, stairs, and executive office to support expanded operations and leadership functions.
Elan GMP Gowning Upgrade
This project included the interior reconfiguration of three different areas of the plant while not interfering with production operations or contaminating clean environments. Work on the main and basement levels (approx. 5500sf) included the construction of new gowning and production entry areas with the associated airlocks, pass thru cabinets and more. In addition to these modifications, the project included the addition of approximately 4,000sf of new mezzanine and mechanical space.
Ethicon Facade & Drainage Upgrades
This project included the demolition of the outdated façade at the plant and the installation of a new exterior insulation finish system and synthetic stone. The work also entailed construction at multiple areas both inside and outside the plant to include the installation of a new canopy, repairs to underslab drainage lines inside the plant and repairs to a sewer line outside the plant.
